Giles: I'm sure we're all perfectly safe. Dawn: We're safe. Right. And Spike built a robot Buffy to play checkers with. Tara: It sounded convincing when I thought it.

'Dirty Girls'

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Since there used to be a good amount of fashion in this thread, and I don’t want to interrupt the heaviness in Natter right now, does anyone have a suggestion for a Marie Antoinette costume for ltc? She needs it for her schools wax museum presentation since that is who she picked. She in a woman’s Small/Medium.

This one is cheaper and fancier: [link]

Thanks, David. Kid sizes aren’t going to fit her. She needs a Misses or Juniors Medium. She’s taller than me now, which I know isn’t much of a feat but she’s only 10!

I think I have found a couple of pieces of clothing on ThredUp that if combined in the right way with a wig will look Marie Antoinette enough for a 4th grade presentation. If they come in in time and fit. I think I’ll hit the thrift stores tomorrow to look around just in case.

I was wondering how that was going. At her age, I did one as Susan B. Anthony--I think I just wore my Sunday- school dress and Mom put a lot of work on the bun for my hair.

Don't remember much about it(I mean, I think it went well, but also I think that's why I laughed later when Monty Burns gets stuck with Lisa Simpson and he's like "Are you ever off?" I think I've always been a bit like that.) But I have a sense memory of that million bobby pins.

and, aw, it's been twenty years since my last big f2f, although I've had lunches and dinners with such Buffistas as have layovers here(Without the porn) and the like. No big parties, though.

erika, she was going to be Susan B Anthony but changed her mind at the last minute. Also she’s super theatrical so she didn’t like to do anything easy or small.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I guess this is not the kind of costume where carrying around a severed head would be appropriate...

No, -t but if she rewears it for Halloween there will be blood! ltc wasn’t allowed to write her first choice for a scary Halloween story for school this past year because her teacher thought it was too scary for the other kids. My kid will scream like she is dying if she sees a bug, freak out about a cold and shrug off horror content like it is nothing.
