And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I still loved when she morphed out of the toilet.

I knew it was coming and still winced at the thought of how many guys must have peed on her before the one she wanted to stab walked in. (And what if he'd chosen the urinal one stall over? There are just SO MANY WAYS her dramatic reveal could have gone hilariously wrong!)

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

And what if he'd chosen the urinal one stall over?

She could have slithered over as toilet paper?

I figured from the beginning she was a terminator, if only because no human could stand the pain of that hairdo, plus she was just off. The headache-inducing time travel question is: Does this mean Skynet creates itself?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Anybody else getting a Borg Queen vibe off of Shirley's character (and not just because of the red hair)? She seems to have a personality along with self-awareness. I wonder if she's Skynet in T-1000 form.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

LOVE Shirley Manson. I wasn't paying attention in the credits at the beginning, so it was a nice surprise. She is going to be AWESOME.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

What is the title of that song in the opening?

I don't know, but it seems to be a new Shirley Manson song! Which is sweet.

Ooh, it appears to be a cover of a Grateful Dead song. Well, not exclusively.

Josh Friedman says it was done by Shirley and Bear McCreary.

And here's Bear's post about the song.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

It was a nice song.

Loved it when Cameron stapled her face back together.

The whole hour held me rapt, which I wasn't expecting -- I only turned it on after The Closer ended and intended to watch just the teaser while I finished my snack.

This. So much this. Nary a wasted move in the entire thing. And some nifty set up for the FBI guy (totally cannot remember his name). Obviously, he has a part to play that the machines want him to, as the previews would also seem to indicate. I suspect he's going to "make a deal with the devil" and not even know it until it's too late.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Shirley Manson, baby!!!!

Ha! I thought she looked familiar. She was good.

I watched, despite the fact I didn't see anything past about the third/fourth episode of last season, so I am woefully unknowledgable about what has been happening.

My question is that if Cameron was good, again, why did she step on Sarah to make her scream? Doesn't sound like the actions of a nice protector. The thought that being smushed by two trucks reprogrammed her just doesn't follow. I think the "termination override" is a false command planted by the other Terminator until he's got something he wants and then he'll set Cameron back onto John.
