Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Brain Injury Tied to Halt in Smoking

Not in mixed company containing her sons or sons-in-law, no. But among other women, or like-minded men to whom she is not related? YUH HUH.

By this definition, she is quite unlike the Wife of Bath who had no such scruple.

This Amy does. Why don't you?

He keeps doing stupid, self-indulgent dangerous shit.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

No sweetie, that's Harry. You've mixed your H-names again.

Mostly lurking...

Is it too early to start drinking margaritas? My math is driving me to drink.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

It's always 5 o'clock somewhere...

At least Harry has the good sense to Save the Day, which is more than can be said of Hagrid. He's more trouble than help.

I'm sure JKR has some Thing he's meant to do, because we've been told for 6 books running now that Dumbledore kept him around in spite of parental/student/other teacher protests, and he Must Have Had His Reasons.

Because books.

My insula! It's all my healthy insula's fault!

You know, Chewbacca was my big love in the original Star Wars trilogy. Maybe that's where my Hagrid love comes from.

Suddenly, I don't want to know what this says about me.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

By this definition, she is quite unlike the Wife of Bath who had no such scruple.

Fine, then. Give her whatever title you like that goes with scruples, but I assure you that when your back is turned she can be quite the bawd. She has certainly tried to enjoy that kind of grown-up women bawdiness with me, and I think my cringing No, you're my mommy! Stop it! reaction is a mild disappointment to her. But she just indulges that side of herself with her friends and their daughters instead.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

At least Chewie quite obviously had a brain in his furry head. I couldn't say the same for Hagrid.
