Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Narrator in Boxed Set:

The Catholic Church doesn't like to talk about exorcisms and the exocists I think are not permitted to discuss what they do. It's like "Fight Club" that way, only with incense and chanting.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Raq in Bitches: You know, I think one way to tell that your nation is in a bad way is when the senior aide for a very senior senator ends every paragraph in his email with Lol. Not even LOL.

I really want to respond with "I'm in UR Congress, makin' UR lawz!!!"

What is even happening?

Jen P: Holy cow. They're showing The Day After on Sci-fi right now. I barely remember anything from the movie - I more remember how hyped it was. And Jason Robards. I think I have to watch.

DXMachina: Yeah, that'll get you in the Christmas spirit, alrighty.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Ginger brings the Holiday funny:

Many, many packages went in the mail today and I just fed some into the APC box until it refused to take any more packages. Towards the end, I ran out of packing tape. Some people who read this may get packages sealed with duct tape. Just think, "Oh, look. It's one of the last packages Ginger wrapped before she had to be sent to the home."

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

this is funny to the ten people that read Buffistatech, but dude, it's really funny.

DXM: The problem is that there's apparently no hardware available that can run AmigaOS 4.0.

tommyrot: According to Hyperion, the new hardware platform will be announced by third parties early 2007.

I poked around at the Hyperion site for a bit but could find no info on this. So I dunno what the hardware platform will be.

DXM: Perhaps it will be a little metal stand upon which one can display a CD of the OS.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Nattering...

DavidS: Who knows anything about Kyrgyzstan?

Sean: I do!

It grows to about 13-15 feet (sometimes as large as 20 feet, weighs in at about 4500 pounds, lives in coastal waters where the temperature stays between 54 to 75 degrees F, can range as far as 12,500 kilometers and can dive up to 4200 feet.

They have rows and rows of razor sharp teeth, and will eat anything that moves, though its typical diet consists of seals, sealions, cetaceans, and large birds and fish. They have to keep swimming constantly, in order to keep water moving over their gills, or they'll die.

In related news, I got my rejection letter from Disney in the mail today. They wished me luck in my future endeavors. Should I reply with a picture of my parking space?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Aimée: My own mother still won't let me have a bedside lamp in any room I sleep in due to a mitten on a lightbulb when I was 3.
