'Shells'

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Suzi, just tell her no. If that's a problem, then don't go on the trip. Don't let your cousin make you change your plans and spend money that you don't want to. (note that I did not say "didn't have". You may have it, but that doesn't mean that you want to spend it on something you hadn't planned on).

OK, a lot of y'all are crafty. I have a logo-type thing that I want to print onto a bunch of aprons for a team thing. The thing is, the picture I have is red with white lettering, but what I'd really like is a red apron, with just the white lettering part added, and a white outline. But I can't figure out how to do that online? Nor how to print it to be an iron-on (especially in white). Doing a stencil and fabric paint seems like it might be easiest, but the writing is cursive-y and so it would be pretty fiddly to cut out. Thoughts?

(The picture is ...similar to but parodying the below. "Betty Cocker" is what it's going to say...)

When I did an iron on, I got the Pantone color for the shirt, then adjusted the color in the logo in Photoshop to match the Pantone color. Then I only had to cut out the outline of the design (which in my case was a square, so easy)

That sounds a little more complicated than I might be up for! Though I'm still needing to check with the other folks to see if anyone has graphic design experience or anything. I need to check where/how last year's group did aprons with "starfucks" on them (they looked just like the Starbucks aprons until you read closely!)

You could do white aprons and then print the iron-on in red?

I meant to say, yay Jilli!

I ended up making Mac and cheese, which made everyone happy. I love these girls, whatever I make, they gush over. Now they're cleaning up the kitchen while ltc naps.

Ugh. I have a crush on a good friend and she's started dating someone new and is all twitterpated and I've been dealing ok with that when it's just her (because she's happy and I want her to be happy) but when they're together I'm just horribly jealous.

A couple months ago (before this started) friend planned a weekend getaway for her birthday to a place with a cabin, hot tub, lake, etc. Shes now invited girlfriend. I don't want to be with them all weekend but I don't feel like I can bail now. Aaaaaargh.

Also, last week I was at dancing and they were both there and I was trying to kind of avoid (by which I mean not stand directly next to them while they cuddle and make out) and my friend was like "why are you ignoring me? What's wrong? Did I do something?" Ugh.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ugh, that's hard, meara.

I think you can bail if you need to.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Yeah, I don't think there's anything wrong with bailing in that situation.
