Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

The inimitable erikaj, Nattering:

Yeah, there are times on the internet where I'm like Football or Game of Thrones. They are both bloody, but one has bigger words.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Gud: Someone appears to have driven a car into a theater across the street. And no, it's not a drive-in theater.

Tom: Well, it is now.

Our wings are not tired.

aurelia: One of my cats just raced into the room meowing so insistently that I had to ask, "What is it Rosie, is Timmy in the well?" Her response was to plop down and start giving herself a bath. Sorry, Timmy.

I know, right? But I think he means the rent is too damn high compared with what a mortgage payment would be on a similar house. I THINK. On the other hand, they just came from Vermont, where my understanding is that you can pay your rent in weed or with a killer drum circle, so they might think ANY rent is high.

Nora Dierdre

...Awesome. Also, HILARIOUS.

Steph L.

To be fair, you *might* be able to pay your rent that way in Northside, too. But we own, so the bank wants cold hard cash instead of bong hits.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Elections update in Natter:

Gudanov: Seems like Trump is not going to get enough delegates to get the nomination on the first ballet.

dcp: The nomination process has sure changed.....

Gudanov: Yeah. It's all dance-offs now.

Steph L.: I fucking LOVE this country, man!

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Heh, missed that in Natter but it's taking me to a Guardians of the Galaxy moment. I can see Trump doing a total Lee Pace at the concept.

How do I find an arborist?

Gudanov

Shine a spotlight to the sky with the symbol of a tree?

Zenkitty

I tried that. All I got was this green dude and I think he was inappropriate with the local deer.

Weaselfuckers are everywhere. Watch your hindquarters, weasels.

Gudanov

Weaselfuckers is a figurative term, right? After piggate in the UK I'm just not sure anymore.

Pix

No weasels were harmed in the creation of this attraction.
