A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Okay so she was telling the truth or is being more devious?

Truth at least for now, I think. She could have killed John before any of the others could reach them in that "promise" scene if she had still been following her original programming. It wouldn't make sense for a machine to give up that golden an opportunity to make an attempt later.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

re: SCC...

BF and I had to pause the tivo during the scene:

"It's called Babylon. It's from the Bible."

Man, that hit us right in the funny bone. We followed that line of dialogue with:

"It's called the baby Jesus. It's from the Bible."

"It's called God. It's from the Bible."

Thrive to spite them

Yeah I heard that and it felt weird but hey she's a terminator! so maybe that makes more sense? I still loved when she morphed out of the toilet. I knew that guy was going to end up dead after bitching about her, I just didn't expect that.

So the bad terminators are here to make sure they exist and the resistance is here (meaning back in time) to make sure they don't . Everyone is trying to pull the strings and yet the future still happens the way it happens.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I still loved when she morphed out of the toilet.

I knew it was coming and still winced at the thought of how many guys must have peed on her before the one she wanted to stab walked in. (And what if he'd chosen the urinal one stall over? There are just SO MANY WAYS her dramatic reveal could have gone hilariously wrong!)

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

And what if he'd chosen the urinal one stall over?

She could have slithered over as toilet paper?

I figured from the beginning she was a terminator, if only because no human could stand the pain of that hairdo, plus she was just off. The headache-inducing time travel question is: Does this mean Skynet creates itself?

Anybody else getting a Borg Queen vibe off of Shirley's character (and not just because of the red hair)? She seems to have a personality along with self-awareness. I wonder if she's Skynet in T-1000 form.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

LOVE Shirley Manson. I wasn't paying attention in the credits at the beginning, so it was a nice surprise. She is going to be AWESOME.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

What is the title of that song in the opening?

I don't know, but it seems to be a new Shirley Manson song! Which is sweet.

Ooh, it appears to be a cover of a Grateful Dead song. Well, not exclusively.

Josh Friedman says it was done by Shirley and Bear McCreary.

And here's Bear's post about the song.
