They haven't been picked up yet for a second season. But they're close to finished producing the second half of the first season, I think.
The second half of the season actually starts in the fall.

I have a little more sympathy for Zoe now. Growing up in that house, no wonder. Although the blanks were a bit of a letdown (for which I was grateful.) we just learned that he wouldn't *actually* shoot his dog and we don't know whether Zoe would shoot the dog. To me her sensing the difference was a bit of punch-pulling.

If I hadn't seen her name in the credits, I never would have recognized her.
They had to retcon away his flashback, so I think it was fair to be surprised.
I thought a retcon was only when the writers explain away something that was not originally planned. Do you think that was the case here?
