I already know what I'm gonna call her. Got a name all picked out...

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

If I hadn't seen her name in the credits, I never would have recognized her.

I saw her name in the credits but didn't recognize her! Who the hell was she??

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I'm pretty sure she was the craxy bible-burning, wing-wearing, penny-pasting momma.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm pretty sure she was the craxy bible-burning, wing-wearing, penny-pasting momma.

Yup, that was her.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Do you think that was the case here?

Given the showrunner shuffles in the extended hiatus, I do suspect so, yes. If they'd planned to do it all along, I'd have hoped they'd have done it more smoothly.

Trust my rage

I have the new ep on my Tivo but I can't decide if it's worth my time to watch. it was so-so back in November, and I hate that sort of reshuffling.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

watch it. I liked the 2 hours. it certainly moved at a brisk pace and that's 75% of the battle for me.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Stephanie, I thought the episode was definitely worth watching.

“Not dead yet!”

Stephanie, I thought it did a nice job of reigniting the things that made the story intriguing in the first place and reshuffling just enough to recapture interest.

I think it's definitely worth the two hours.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Yes, the pace was much better than the fall run of the show. I was ready to give up, except it is one of the shows I watch with my sister.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I had given up on the show too, but I enjoyed the new episode.
