I get confused. I remember everything. I remember too much, and... some of it's made up, and... some of it can't be quantified, and... there's secrets.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Ah, thanks, Tom! I had heard that the episode would show on Easter, hence my confusion. I suppose I can wait another two weeks if I MUST.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

"Caprica" = Fucked. The Hell. Up.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

most everything about, uh, Flosso and his bosses was pretty interesting.

I'm curious about the bosses.

And I was surprised that Simon was Suspect Zero, but I think I get surprised easily because I miss a lot of obvious things.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

They had to retcon away his flashback, so I think it was fair to be surprised.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

"Caprica" = Fucked. The Hell. Up.

Understatement. I can't believe there is only one episode left.

I am surprised no one mentioned Lindsay Crouse on FF.

Doctor Who trailer.

WANT. NOW.

You know, if they put in enough menace, I will find him sexy. I'm cheap that way.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Ooh, I do like that "Me" at the end.

Ha! Camouflaged Dalek. Too cute.

I really hope this new series is as good as the previews.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Me too. I'm trying to keep an open mind about Eleven. I remember bemoaning the end of Nine and tiggy (wisely) assuring me to keep watching, that I would soon be enamored with Ten.

::sigh::

I thought his threat was well-delivered in the trailer, and that's my biggest worry about them casting young: losing gravitas. So far, nothing I've seen bears out my worry.

Someone on IO9 gives this history of the Doctor and guns, to put the lie to the Guardian article:

One carried one in the Gunfighters. Five shot a Cyberman in the Console Room and shot a lock out. Four blasted a Giant Rat with a Fowling Gun... Nine carried one in the Parting of the Ways...
