Even if ALL those things happen quick (which they never EVER do) Massachusetts has good tenant-protection laws, so you have at the very least a month's protection--probably MORE, as nothing will happen until next month, and you ahve 30 day's after that.

To be honest, I don't know. It depends upon what's in your renter's agreement. Your landlord does have to give you a certain amount of notice, which is usually 30 days. He/she can't sell it tomorrow and ask you to quit the premises the day after.
