Coffee On My Monitor

This thread is for Buffista quotage. Posts that are profound, witty, or otherwise deserving of immortality go here. This is also Shrift's source for the BRQG, so be aware that if your words end up here, they'll also end up there. Finally, please note which thread spawned the quotage and please white-out anything that might be spoilery to Un-Americans.

Jessica: This is true for all the left-hand threads (except Press and Beep Me, natch), and definitely deserves to be mentioned.

Many posts later….

Nutty: Call me a dummy but -- aren't they right-hand threads? That is where they show up on my screen.

Oh my god, is my screen backwards??

DX: It's their other left hand.

Deena: It's the board's left, when it's looking out at you.

Jessica: Um, yeah. Those threads. On the side. That one.--->

Aurelia: Stage left.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Emily: Gudanov, did you steal my grandmother's house? Or do all the front yards in Missouri look the same? Both answers seem a bit unlikely.

Gudanov: They all look the same, when you move to Missouri you are issued a front yard appearence book and have to maintain your yard to specifications. This means that there are lots of tulips in spring, but pizza delivery can get dicey.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

billytea: Hey ND, what sort of equipment do you need with your computer to do the hotspot thing?

NoiseDesign: I've got 802.11g, it's built in on my PowerBook, along with Bluetooth. It's built in to some PC's or you can add it with a PC Card or USB dongle. You want either 802.11b or 802.11g.

billytea: See, I could've sworn I asked in English...

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Allyson, quoting Kristen in Minearverse:

Kristen just explained to me that priests are the BNFs of the Holy Trinity, and altar boys are like PAs.

billytea: Now I know why MM wants to have children. They're a mind-control device.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Catching up in Natter.

Jesse: (Whose tagline at the moment reads, "Yeah, the wonder fell on me. Ow.") I just made an artichoke, and I don't like it!

(I'm giggling and channeling Spike. "Undo it! Undo it!")

Proud mama flea on one of our Buffista babies:

Eve the flealet is almost 8 months old - she sits, she scoots, she shops, she sneezes, and she's going to be a fireman when the floods roll back. But first she's going to pull all my hair out (lovingly) and gnaw her teeth in. She's great. This week, she's even sleeping for more than 2 hours in a row at night!
