Off Allyson's mention of SoCal rain, we get Bronze PBP Natter...
Cashmere:
Allyson, you make me slightly less sad that I won't be coming to LA this weekend.
Allyson:
I'm starting to think twice about the whole thing, myself. So many people I want to punch in the head, so few knuckles to break.
EDITORIAL DISCLAIMER: This may only be funny for Buffistas who were Bronzers, but I couldn't resist because it's very funny for Buffistas who were Bronzers.
Cindy, off the Bitch reaction to Aimee's new 'do
PMM (I'm just the set up here)

From Angel (don't know if this is spoilery, but whitefonting just in case):
Nutty:
I mean, Jesus never threw Pontius Pilate down a flight of stairs.
It would have been kind of cool if he had done, but then we would not call him Prince of Peace.
From Angel, non-spoilery, but white-fonting just to be safe:
Nutty:
Symbolism Police: to be a Jesus Figure, you must be a willing victim in your own sacrifice. Otherwise, SEE Scapegoat; Victim, Random; and Redshirt, Long-Term Non-Contract.
Rio: My haircutter is in Amsterdam till March 8 and it's already been 6 weeks since my last cut and what is on my head right now is less like a hairdo and more like a hairpocalypse.
Emily: Gar, I think the whole point of most martial arts is to enable the rest of us to have a chance against people like you. I believe you're meant to swing a mace around your head or something.
Talking about exchanging a certain partially dressed character for our birthdays in Buffy:
ita:
All of this is assuming that the January birthdays have any inclination to release him.
Connie Neil:
Let me guess, ita, yours is January?
ita:
No need to get into specifics -- we have a perfectly valid abstract premise to work with.
Totally off-topic, in Angel:
Shari H: In Nilly's absence, I'll take the liberty of saying that Kwisatz Haderach, which is translated in Dune as "the shortening of the way" is close to Hebrew (which has no "w", but "haderech" does mean "the way"). Most of the Fremen words and names in Dune seem to me to be more Arabic-sounding and Arabic does have a "w". YourTranslation-of-semitic-languagesMayVary
Wolfram: That's what I thought, but my Hebrew is far from fluent so I wanted someone else to verify that. It does refer to a phenomenon that is supposed to happen to righteous people that they arrive at a destination faster then would normally be possible. Like when I drive on the NJ Tpke.
