Fred: So you don't worry that it's possible for someone to send out a biological or electronic trigger that effectively overrides your own sense of ideals and values and replaces them with an alternative coercive agenda that reduces you to a mindless meat puppet? Shopkeeper: Wow. People used to think that I was paranoid.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Yay for vw's mom!

sj, did you at least get a discount for the trouble?

Breakups with stylists are infinitely worse than ones with SOs. Hey, it took me ten years to find my hair guru, and only six years to find a husband.

Teppy, the lunchmeat thief should be consigned to the special level of hell....you know, the one where he or she is surrounded by Limburger cheese, moldy bread, and deli meat 2 years past its expiration date.

Nope. I think I am going to switch to a new stylist after the move. The only problem is my current hairdresser is so very cheap compared to most salon prices. Still, with the price of gas, it will probably be cheaper for me to just stay in Worcester.

Yep. It's what you get for violating the 11th Commandment, "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's thinly sliced deli turkey."

sj, it's probably a wise decision. Once there is tension, it's never the same again.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Huh. I've never really had a stylist.

I mean, I keep thinking I should get one, but they're pretty expensive, so I just keep going for barber shop trims.

I still want a very stylish looking haircut, but I never seem to be able to get what I am looking for.

I ended up asking random women whose cut and color I liked where they got their hair done. The response was overwhelmingly skewed to the salon I now go to.

And how did I know that a "barbershop trim" would get Hec's engine running?

I'm predictable? It was about Ple? It was about Ple in a barber chair?
