hip deep in pie

I stayed awake until 3:30 last night to sober up, thinking I'd sleep all morning. I couldn't stay in bed past 8:30. This is unfair.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Sounds like a good way to handle it Allyson.

Sue, that sucks.

I have less than an hour to get ready and leave my house and I am completely unmotivated. Also it is wicked windy outside, I am at a loss at what to wear to deal with the cold windy.

Sue, that sucks.

It does. At least I am not hungover.

I think I am going to take in an early matinee, then come home and nap. It seems like a perfect Suday plan.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

ex-gay

Now, pardon my math, but if there are 300 million Americans, and 10% of them are gay (let's pretend it's a nice round number), then there are 30 million gay people in the US. If the ex-gay people have a a complete list of card-carrying members of the Communist Party American homos, then they have lots of work cut out for them. No wonder they're claiming millions! I wonder if all the famous relapse cases count twice (or thrice)?

I think they're like McDonald's: it got too hard to count, so they settled on a nice, vague "Millions and Millions Turned Into Unhappy People."

Munchausen by Internet

The fact this person died might make an interesting and ironic footnote: I mean, everybody dies, and it's pretty heartless not to be affected by that death, but you also have that twinge of doubt reading her obituary, don't you? Like, if she'll lie about having a terminal illness, maybe her death is one big fake too.

Broncos

The Patriots lost! Flatmate and Other Flatmate are heartbroken. After the half, I went and read Stephen Jay Gould in bed, and just the absence of joyful shouting from the living room was signal enough as to what was occurring.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Aerosol, huh? I totally never think of that as a can. Either way, Ralphs didn't have any.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I've seen it in a can AND in a pump. I prefer the can, because, hey, scrubbing bubbles should be PROPELLED by aerosol, IMHO.

THe pump ones just don't seem as fluffy.

Which probably doesn't affect their cleaning power, but it makes me feel better.

Well, the preliminary results are in, and MiracleFoam did a great job on my stovetop. Next up is the shower stall.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

You should come and see what kind of a job MiracleFoam will do on my stovetop. I mean, for purely scientific purposes. Like, as a control.

Or you could come defrost my freezer. That would be good, too, and I'm sure there's some science in there somewhere.

If it doesn't involve cleaning chemicals and flat surfaces, my enthusiasm evaporates quickly.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

About 10 minutes ago, I shut one cat into a bedroom, with his food that the other cat isn't supposed to eat, making sure that the other cat was still sprawled out on the kitty condo. About five minutes ago, I opened the (still closed) door to the bedroom, and found both cats.
