The Minearverse 4: Support Group for Clumsy People

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

If I only had a brain...

I always worry that I'm going to praise the wrong book/show. "Gee, Tim, I LOVED your work on Angel!" Tim curses my name and wonders why I haven't mentioned WONDER FALLS or THE INSIDE.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

It's always a safe bet to praise his work on "Lois and Clark."

Betsy, I think that as long as you don't mention Tim's awesome work on Buffy, you're good.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

And never do they strike one as idiots. Ever.

Special congratulations are due to the Keep the Idiots Away from Tim Squad.

If I only had a brain...

(hastily) I do love WONDER FALLS. THE INSIDE was too scary for me.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Special congratulations are due to the Keep the Idiots Away from Tim Squad.

aaahhhhh ha ha ha!

If I only had a brain...

Sometimes we're the idiots.

THE INSIDE was too scary for me.

It's okay. My mom loves it enough for you and twenty other people. Which she reiterated yesterday when she called to announce that she's Tim's newest #1 fan and really wants to meet him next time she's in LA.

Hmmm...maybe I should bid on the Tim phone call for my mom.

Hey. New board.

Ah, but you've never talked to me on the phone, a method of communications that I believe should be reserved for 911 calls and reports of impending family funerals.

I agree more than I can possibly say.

The internets! They find my family for me!

I was supposed to call somebody today. I emailed somebody who MIGHT be able to email them, instead. I am... pathetic.

If I only had a brain...

The bad thing about phone calls is you can't *edit* them. Or, in extreme cases, delete them.
