I fell down and got confused. Willow fixed me. She's gay.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

It's been a while since I've posted here but I haven't forgotten about you guys. I've been mostly lurker girl these days because I've had lots to do at work and very little time to read and post. To catch up I give you the following...

  • Yay pictures of beautiful Buffistae (haircuts & offspring)!
  • ~ma to those in need in various situations.
  • June birthday's rule! (Mine is the 18th - the same day my brother is getting married)
  • Congratulations to pregnant Buffistae & recents grads!
  • Anything else that I missed (sorry!)

IOmeN, I started a new diet 3 weeks ago and I've already lost 15 pounds and I feel great about it. Also, I'm going to start looking into some music teaching/performing opportunities in the Gainesville/Jacksonville, FL area in about a week. My mom and 8 year old brother live down there so I would be closer to family and in a warmer climate (Michigan summers are great but I can't stand the winters).

I hope everyone has a great weekend. I'm currently in Brookfield, WI for my future SIL's bachelorette party! (One more hour to go!)

(For the record, I got her these: [link] [link] )

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Congrats on the weight loss, beathen!

And you have to come down for one more weekend before you go. I need enchiladas!

Thanks P-C! (And sorry for all the marriage pressure you're getting. I know that's been a big stress on your life.)

And of course I'll come make some enchiladas! Did you ever try making them yourself? How did they turn out?

t tackle hugs P-C

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

beathen! Good to see you and good for what you've gotten accomplished!

My mom took me shopping at L.L. Bean today. I felt massively guilty letting her, because as much as it was her idea and she was really eager to go, I KNOW she can't have the kind of money she dropped today to spare. She was stubborn and would hear no arguments, though. Now I have many good-for-travel things to wear.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

beathen just took too much candy to a whole new level.

Sanded floors - waiting for the third coat of finish to dry. also had breakfast at the cafe and have been to the hardware store twice. in news of joy, my neigborhood bead store opened in a new and bigger location. I stopped in briefly around 3 -- at least 15 people in there. It has been busy all day.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I sometimes make a dressing with lemon juice, honey, olive oil and garlic and parsley.

Oooh, that sounds good.

Congratulations on the weightloss, beathen.

Lilty, you have a good mom.

I am cranky. Teacup Guy's schedule is so busy with work and committee stuff that we can't see each other again until Tuesday.

Thanks, brenda. I found some good ideas there.

I haven't yet. I'm so confused as to how to go about cooking the chicken bits. I don't think I'm supposed to wrap them in the enchiladas still frozen.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I don't think I'm supposed to wrap them in the enchiladas still frozen.

Um, no. You cook the chicken up (usually in a skillet until it's no longer pink). Then shred it and fill up the tortillas. Then pour on the sauce and bake. It's easy-peasy if you cook all the stuff that goes into/onto them first and then do the filling, folding parts.
