ATK tested it out and found the easiest and best way is to cook the chicken bits right in the sauce - simmer for about five-ten minutes and the chicken is cooked and flavored and stays moist. Once it's cooked, remove it and any other filling stuff and mix with the cheese or whathaveyou.
