Nonian, yay for Miniana!
askye, Ginger, beathen, AmyLiz, Maria, Deena, thanks for all your feedback. I've bookmarked your posts.
Do you know what's causing the anxiety? Because you could approach it from that direction, too -- either doing something to prepare for situations you know will trigger an attack, or figuring out ways to deal while you're in them.
Well suddenly, going into places (stores, etc.) seems to be a problem, but it's hit or miss, and I think sometimes at least, I half talk myself into having one, by worrying I'm going to have one. I think I've always had some mild anxiety attacks (at least since my teens) but didn't know it. In my late 20s I had some that were less mild, but honestly didn't know what they were--I thought I just wasn't feeling well. Finally one day, it dawned on me. I suspect it's hormones causing the increase. I just don't want to let myself be ruled by them.
Cindy, one thing that triggers anxiety attacks in me is poor sleep or not enough of it. Are you getting enough sleep?
I haven't been doing too poorly sleep-wise. I've never been a great sleeper, but have been sleeping decent for me, and not up as early. I should probably try to go to bed earlier, and see if it helps. Thanks, Deena.
