The Minearverse 3: The Network Is a Harsh Mistress

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls and The Inside), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Forget tachyons and positrons. Forget Shatner, holodecks, rayguns and self-aware computers. Pfah. Unnecessary.

Just so long as they have to reverse something's polarity, it's all good.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

We'll fight amongst ourselves for the opportunity. Last kravver standing gets to do it.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I'm mostly leaning toward not getting this done. It will change the shape of my face, and I like my face just fine, I even like my overbite. Adds character, or something.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Why does the dentist want to do this now? That sounds like a whole lot of no fun to go through. There would have to be a pretty compelling medical reason for me to agree to it.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Alyson, they're gonna break your lower jaw?

I had an overbite that orthodontia alone could not fix. So they did that surgery where they removed a portion of my upper jaw. Now everything is hunky-dory. But the six weeks with my jaw wired shut was not fun.

edit:

There would have to be a pretty compelling medical reason for me to agree to it.

For me, anyway, they told me that because my teeth didn't line up where my jaw wanted them to (or vice-versa) I would eventually get arthritis of the jaw.

That's what they told me. Still, don't want them screwing with my face. My body sucks, but everything above my neck is perfectly fine.

Except this haircut.

People told me the surgery did change my appearance, but I think it's better now. I am no longer buck-toothed (or whatever).

Also, I can now bite with my front teeth (that is, my front upper and lower teeth can now touch each other) which is nice.

Yeah. I don't want my appearance changed.

Oh, and, the fuck?

I'm so tired of assholes like this. You sent a script to producers? And they didn't respond? And so that means they don't care about fans? No. It means that you can't figure out how to get an agent, jerk. GRR.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

psst, Allyson, note the date.
