There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.
Hee. How about this Spot the Drummer?
OMG I got it AGAIN. eerie. I think I've found my hidden talent.
Did you see whose band that was?

Pete (who has listened to the whole thing a couple of times) thinks it's one of NIN's better albums.

He's failed miserably at music geekery.
Maybe that should be my tagline, failed music geek.
I dunno, I've just never noticed a drummer *look." My husband's been a drummer since he was, like, eight (he was in one of those fife and drum corps and never gave it up, and has been in bands for basically half his life), so maybe I'm subconsciously trying to pick the person who reminds me of P.?
Or, maybe I am just lame. and sad. (It took me four tries on the second band, too, which is kind of impressive in that you'd think the odds would pretect me from failing that miserably twice.)
But the three people who got it are the ones who probably spend the most time with music.
Well, there's always gotta be an exception. I got it in one because of the two guys standing in the back, the other one was just too wee.

Clearly you have the instincts to geek out. You choose not to.
If you keep clicking on the "Last Week" link, there are a whole bunch of previous Spot the Drummers. After a while it gets easier.
