I dunno, I've just never noticed a drummer *look." My husband's been a drummer since he was, like, eight (he was in one of those fife and drum corps and never gave it up, and has been in bands for basically half his life), so maybe I'm subconsciously trying to pick the person who reminds me of P.?
Or, maybe I am just lame. and sad. (It took me four tries on the second band, too, which is kind of impressive in that you'd think the odds would pretect me from failing that miserably twice.)

Ooh, Jon, thanks for that blog link -- I found out from it that the TMF show I saw at Zankel Hall finally made it on the air:
It includes a version of "Reno Dakota" directly addressed to Mr Dakota, who was there, and possibly, Stephin's story about attending one of the first concerts performed at Zankel (the new smaller space in the basement of Carnegie Hall).
