Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

with a gleam in my eye, and an almost airtight alibi

Ooh, Jon, thanks for that blog link -- I found out from it that the TMF show I saw at Zankel Hall finally made it on the air:

[link]

It includes a version of "Reno Dakota" directly addressed to Mr Dakota, who was there, and possibly, Stephin's story about attending one of the first concerts performed at Zankel (the new smaller space in the basement of Carnegie Hall).

Hi, folks!

Go Betweens interview with literary emphasis.

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

Has anyone listened to James Marsters' debut album? Is it any good? What style of music is he playing?

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Bwah!

Corwood, you (and Abe) are now responsible for getting oatmeal off my monitor.
