Yes, there is. There's a hurry, Xander. I'm dying...I may have as few as fifty years left.

Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

I knew that topless lady had something up her sleeve. - John Prine

Huh, there's a Placebo greatest hits.

Yeah. They're not really hits, but most people never realize the difference.

Essential Albums 2000-2009

I knew I'd been sorta sleepwalking through the decade, but I didn't realize I had missed the middle and end of it.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Any Duran Duran people who can tell me what year/tour had a logo that was simply a planet, a star, and a heart?

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Holiday Card from Rhino Records (Note to Hec: should especially appeal to Tick fans).

Art Crawl!!!

David -- I went to Borders to by LitG and found one copy. I have 3 friends that need your book (as a gift from me, you know) and that was the last copy in town. Barnes and Noble told me that they couldn't order it as it was already backordered.

It's doing well, no?

I'm hoping against hope that Amazon can get it to me by next Wednesday, since I ordered it (on December 6-ish) for my brother's Xmas gift. (As a backup gift, I bought him a SPAM calendar. The "food," not the junk-mail phenomenon.)

Art Crawl!!!

Although a lovely calendar made up of everyone's favorite "spam" messages would also make a good present.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

The women in that Rhino card are terrifying.

Heather - what was it? I had started search Duran sites (TIMEWASTER!) but found nothing.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It's doing well, no?

It's hard to tell. Routledge has a problem with distribution, so asking for it and hearing about back orders is encouraging. The fact that I can't find it in any bookstores (except Booksmith) is less fun, but I'm hoping it will sort out.

Thanks for asking for it though! That's what we need.

Found it at Borders in Buckhead last night.
