Or maybe you could just be Buffy, he'll see your amazing heart, and he'll fall in love with you.

Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

I knew that topless lady had something up her sleeve. - John Prine

I completely spaced out during the Xmas music discussion & forgot to mention that John Waters has a new Christmas CD. I think I might have been listening to him talking about it on Fresh Air when the Christmas music recommendations were flying, but... well, I've been drinking a lot lately. Thank God the holiday parties, at least the ones with open bars, are almost over. "I would like some restraint for Christmas, Santa. Have I been a good boy? No, that's why I need some restraint."

Thank you for shopping with Rhino Handmade Entertainment Music.

Daaavid! Whatcha doin'?
Standin' on the verge of gettin' it on, yeah, gettin' it on!

Uncertainty could be our guiding light.

That Duran Duran tour logo ... was it for the "Seven and the Ragged Tiger" tour? The one the live album came from?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Found it at Borders in Buckhead last night.

I found it at Borders in Boston today. Checkout clerk commented on the cool cover.

That makes the third copy I've bought. I got two from Amazon for gifts. I'd ordered a third from them (along with RotK EE), but between the two, Amazon was saying they wouldn't ship until FEBRUARY! It's not worth the savings to me to wait that long, or until they get their shit together if they're just over-estimating, so I cancelled. Bah!

But I have it in my possession. Soon will have RotK EE as well.

Okay, you're in the lead. You know I'll send you a free one when you get an even dozen, right?

Actually for three I'm pretty sure I owe you a mix of some kind. Pick a genre, any genre. Also? Send me your address.

I owe some mixes to folks on this board, and I am intending to send them out this weekend. So hang tight. (Kate P. I'm looking at you. Also, I need addresses for Ginger and Katefate if anybody has them handy. )

Thank you!

Don't thank me until I remember to e-mail it to you. When you combine my crap memory with my near-total inability to reply to e-mails, you may not get her address until next December.

Too late. May it fester and nag at you until you have completed this task I have laid upon thee.
