Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

"When I look at people that I would like to feel have been a mentor or an inspiring kind of archetype of what I'd love to see my career eventually be mentioned as a footnote for in the same paragraph, it would be, like, Bowie." ~Trent Reznor

"Mink Car" has grown on me faster than the others, though I'd rate "No!" a close second. It's brilliant for being great for kids without taking away from its adult appeal. Would've loved to have seen their No! shows.

FYI to Soulseekers: Look me up. mrbroom. Please pillage my excellent music.

I dare you to name one other band who, in the middle of the show, stages a chaotic Battle for a Donut:

The Go-Nuts

I can't help you with that decision but I sure would love a copy of that mix.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Matchbox Twenty Finally Finishes Watering Down Long-Awaited New Album

The release has been eagerly awaited by Matchbox Twenty's enormous fan base, composed of American record buyers who have a limited interest in music but enjoy the act of shopping.

BWAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!!!!

I knew that topless lady had something up her sleeve. - John Prine

Pretend I Never Happened Willie Nelson

Get rid of this one. Terrible song -- in fact the whole album is unlistenable. :-)

Btw, it's Jimmie Dale Gilmore, not Jimmy. He was named for the great Jimmie Rodgers. Yodelayhee-ayhee-ohohohoh!

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Joe, I was rushing to the end to say that the Willie song seems the most expendable to me (which is probably the first time I've ever thought that).

TMBG: I'd definitely be dead to Scrappy and several others here should I mention my opinion, so I won't.

Yeah, I had to fix a bunch of mistakes off Gracenote.

I can't help you with that decision but I sure would love a copy of that mix.

Gladly done. Shoot me your address to my profile addy.
