Björk has just about the most amazing voice of anyone I'm a fan of. My fave Björk song is still "Birthday" by the Sugar Cubes. Sometimes her singing on that song sends chills down my spine....
'Touched'
Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan
There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.
Looking forward to the new album; as far as I'm concerned the more ethereal the better, Bjork is after all not to be judged by normal human criteria.
Maybe we should judge her as a swan. I firmly believe she could break a grown man's arm with one beat of those... forelimb... thingies.
Maybe we should judge her as a swan.
So she wore the corpse of her own kind to the Oscars?

Well, that would explain her laying the egg....
So she wore the corpse of her own kind to the Oscars?
No, no, it was just stunned! Beautiful plumage, the Icelandic Björkswan.
She's pining for the fjords.
She's pining for the fjords.
And almost certainly tired and shagged out from a long squawk (known in 'the business' as a bonus track).
If ever there was proof of the existence of elves, Bjork is as close as I've ever seen.
I love Bjork, right down to her swan dress. Just not sure I'll love the newest record is all. As far as voices, hers is amazing.
Bjork's "Bachelorette" is one of those songs that makes me want to get a giant billboard in downtown Seattle proclaiming it to be the coolest song ever.
