On an unrelated note, Kozik's personally declared the poster I did for the Kinks tribute band (the one I sent DX) to be the ugliest thing he'd ever seen on Gigposters.com. Kozik hates my sense of humor!

On an even more unrelated yet tangential note, I have an autographed copy of the Kinks' Misfits album hanging on the wall of my back room. Whem my five (and a half) year-old niece came to visit this weekend, she refused to go in there until I took it down and removed it from the room, because it was weird and scary. Art critics, go figure...

I've been trying to fill in my late 70s British rock and roll gaps, and bought the second Ultravox album (Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!). This is when they were still John Foxx's band and arty/glam/guitar instead of the New Romantic Vienna Midge Ure edition. It's pretty great.
