I think that's why I was unimpressed by both the earlier songs... Slither sounds like an STP tune, but somehow not as good, and the one from the Hulk soundtrack sounded a lot like a GnR tune.
Fall To Pieces is the first song that sounds like they're trying to find their own, new voice.

On an even more unrelated yet tangential note, I have an autographed copy of the Kinks' Misfits album hanging on the wall of my back room. Whem my five (and a half) year-old niece came to visit this weekend, she refused to go in there until I took it down and removed it from the room, because it was weird and scary. Art critics, go figure...
