Bwah ha ha! I'm going mad with my recent Glam rock acquisitions.
I think I need to make meara a special mix because "Butch Things" is one of the best newly discovered songs. There's also "Getting a Drag" which is indeed about wearing drag.
I might have to break it out into separate mixes for Glam Rock, Glitter Pop, Art Glam and maybe a Neo Glam section. Or possibly by subject since there are easily enough glam songs with outer space themes to justify an entire mix of Glam In Space. It's giddy making.
Hey, Hec, where's yr tagline from?
It's Joss describing River in the "Objects in Space" commentary. (I only know this because the question recently came up in another thread.)
I bought the new Morrissey CD/DVD "You Are the Quarry" this weekend. On first listening I love or like all the songs - very typical Morrissey fare - with uplifting music and depressing lyrics.
Hey Steph, do you have any interest in African music? I can put together a comp for you if you want.
Oooh! I *do* want! That would be great!
Okay, I'll get to work on that. You can email your address to me at pritchkate (at) hotmail (dot) com.

Hey superhottie Rio! P-Cow speaks true - it's Joss commentary from Firefly.
P-Cow speaks true
Aw yeah. Sounds like my street ball nickname. When we play two-on-two, it's all me and G-Dawg.
Is there a Nick Drake song called something like "Mayfair"? Because I've heard a song that may be titled something like that used in an ad for something twice. (Well, I've seen the ad twice and I still couldn't tell you what it was for.)
