Never occurred to me. I am trusting, I suppose.
In fact, I was surprised to see "You can't stop the signal" in the movie. A little more time, and I might have worked it out myself. But I'm way too emotionally involved with the surface of the movie to mess it up by getting meta.
I didn't see it that way either, for what it's worth.

Hey, just because that's not what he was thinking, doesn't mean it's not true.
Hell, I wrote a play which was done in readings twice before I figured out it was about my marriage breaking up. Once I saw it, it totally was, but it never entered my mind for a second while I was writing.
