I was convinced that the movie would end with Zoe finding out she was pregnant, and I'm so, so very glad it didn't.

Oh dear God yes. I just can't imagine any way to have pulled that off without invalidating the mood of the whole movie. And having me cracking up laughing.

But it's a nice thought that in some universe, somewhere, there's a little Zoe Wash baby kicking all the other babies' butts and playing with dinosaurs. It makes me happy, at least.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

but somebody who sees T-shirts as cause for murder ain't getting near my loin-fruit.

Murder? Pfft. Just a flesh wound. Will toughen your kids up.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I didn't think she thought the t-shirt was a reason to murder. I thought she was trying to get rid of the logo.

"When I look at people that I would like to feel have been a mentor or an inspiring kind of archetype of what I'd love to see my career eventually be mentioned as a footnote for in the same paragraph, it would be, like, Bowie." ~Trent Reznor

I'm pretty sure she was channeling some anger re: Ariel, as it's more or less clear she knew about his betrayal from the moment it went wrong. "Don't look in the closet--it's greedy. It's not in the spirit of the season," and that face. A couple weeks/months and a mood swing later and she's prepared to take a small amount of vengeance out on the guy. Works for me.

The T-shirt thing's plausible too. I just like my theory is all.

Except, doesn't the slashing happen at the beginning of Ariel? Or should I be taking more of my confuzzlement medication?

I may have to seize the cat.

Jars is right. She slashes him before he betrays her.

Hi ita! Linking you to it would do no good because my LJ is friends only, but my premiere writeup includes this line:

- Meet Ita. Highlight of the evening.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Saw flick. Will refrain from posting opinion. Will make various heads explode. But know this. Know this. @@ 4evah.

Bah. You're right. I only came up with that theory after having to watch episodes out of order over and over, which is what happens when you toaster both of your roommates and three of your friends inside of one month. T-shirt it is, then.

I may have to seize the cat.

I always assumed she knew what he was going to do, and that's why she cut him.

Thing was, that would take precognition, since there hadn't yet been a plan to sneak River into Ariel, so Jayne wouldn't have had a reason to try to turn them in for the reward. That's where my theory sort of falls apart. She's psychic, but I'm not willing to believe she can see the future.
