Though the thing that pissed me off most about the finale was Kirsch suddenly deciding to be a good guy and help Mulder and Scully. WTF?
The hell? And they bought it, and expected the audience to? And, and...
Nevermind. I'm just glad I decided to skip that season.

I wish I had. Well, I skipped most of it, but I got suckered in cause it was the last episode ever.
Except for this regrettable movie talk they're having now.
THey confirmed that they will release the Tara and Anya action figures after all...

Yeah, I keep hearing tidbits about it and shrugging. The last few seasons ruined absolutely any interest I have in furthering the story. I personally think that when DD first wanted out, they should have just ended it gracefully.
That said, I would probably pick up the early seasons on DVD if they weren't so damn expensive. When you can get a season of Angel or Buffy at around $50 it just boggles the mind that a season of The X-Files (or Star Trek, for that matter) is in the $100 to $120 range.
I'm probably one of the few admitted sickos who loved "En ami".
That was written by William B. Davis, right? I liked that one better than the other actor-penned season 7 episodes, but that's not saying much, 'cause I thought both "All Things" (written by GA) and "Hollywood A.D." (DD's) were self-indulgent crap.
Kalshane, Amazon.com is set to re-release all nine seasons on DVD on May 11 at a considerably lower price per set--about $70 each. It's still more expensive than BtVS or Angel but not as atrocious as the previous pricing. I only own seasons 1-3, and I'm considering getting at least S4 and 5... and maybe season 6, if only for "Tithonus", which I adore.
Thanks for the heads up. That's definitely more resonable. Hopefully it's not a limited time offer, as I'm trying to avoid unneccessary expenditures until after I buy a house and have handled any home-buying-related emergencies I'm sure will crop up.
I also have the XF in my queue. How far in the series is it worth to watch before it jumps the shark?
I'd say up to season seven, personally. But then you get stuck with a crap cliffhanger. Although I'm not sure if it ever gets much better after the post-S5 movie.
SMG talks about having been Buffy ... and some stuff about a guy named Freddie.
A guy who opens doors for women is auto-"genuine"? What is this, 1686?
I wouldn't say auto-genuine, but it is always nice to know someone is paying attention to someone other than themselves. For me, this is true for anyone, male, female, romantic interest or otherwise.
