Wood did take the coat and then Spike took it back. I know I'm not wrong on this...
You mean after Wood tried to kill him?
I've had a soul all my life, and I'd have taken it too.
What (and how) Wood tried to do was incredibly over the line, as I see it. He wanted revenge, and he wanted revenge against someone who no longer truly existed, and he knew it. He wanted to punish, not just remove, otherwise he'd have slipped a stake between Spike's ribs long ago.
that stupid fucking axe which I hope really really hurt when ME pulled it out of their collective ass.
I can agree with the rest, but not with this. The axe has been set up for so long in Fray that it was a TOTAL geek-out moment for me when I saw it.
Me, too. Because it was first in
Tales of the Slayers
TPB, wasn't it? And then Fray #7, which I think really was delayed to be in synch with Buffy.
I probably wasn't clear enough about it. It's one of those plot points that made people go "huh?" anyway. I can see Buffy not advertising the fact that her parents sent her to a psych ward, but you'd think there would have been some comment (perhaps an apology) from Joyce upon learning that vampires are real at the end of Season 2.
Damn, the last new Buffy thread, ever...
Sniff...
Ooh, new thread smell!
Just wanted one post in the last thread of a "running" BtvS.
[Edit: it's probably my lowest post # ever, too]
Cereal single digits!
Since this is a new thread, I suppose this would be a good place to repost my screencaps link.

Ah! New thread!
Now that I have snagged a good spot, I can go shower...
I got the final Buffy 3 post.
