So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

That just reminded me of a new portmanteau I learnt today in the LJ crossover challenge -- Spicey.

See, this I could get behind. With a camera.

We need to use this and make it catch on for the insano-Spuffies. (Note to Buffistsas - I don't mean you; I have b/s leanings from time to time, you know whom I mean). I think I will tell Bronzers about it, too.

Spoldemorts! Spoldemorts!

Hey, I've written it. Twice since Chosen, even.

Nobody

Twice? I missed one, then. Where, where? You know the one I saw. I saw the missing Chosen scene that you did, that made me all better again.

I didn't see your other, I don't think. WANT.

`He combed his hair, Put on a shirt that his mother made, And he went on the air...'

Speaking here as a Spoldemort... we are a subtle and varied breed, OK? Not all of us are idiots. There are some pretty good arguments for irritation at Buffy (and others) in the interests of Spoldemortism. One, of many, that leaps into my head right now and makes me seethe is the following from season 6: Buffy dumps Spike, saying she is using him and can never love him. Xander ditches Anya at the altar (maximum humiliation). Spike and Anya indulge in a little desperate canoodling for comfort's sake. The camera just happens to be there. Self-righteous wrath on the part of Buffy and Xander. Somehow this is interpreted as their ditched partners hurting THEM, when I actually thought being ditched made you a free agent. And poor Spike is so whipped he actually apologises. I don't care if he, or Anya is evil, good, or some shade of grey in between -- if they're good enough to be involved with, even if it is only using them as an instrument of physical pleasure, they are good enough to treat with a modicum of respect. And that's only one of many incidents I could cite from S6.

OK, so some Spoldemorts may be nutters. But some of us aren't. There are many times I've adored Buffy. And Xander. (Never liked Willow that much.) But sometimes they behave like crap.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

MMmmmmmmm, Pacey.

Do all the Pacey fans know they are selling the DVD Directors Cut of the Dawson's Creek Finale. With 10 minutes of cut Pacey footage. Um... Well, that didn't really sound right...

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

But some of us aren't.

I am weary from the battle. Prove to me you are not wearing a tinfoil hat.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

the DVD Directors Cut of the Dawson's Creek Finale

Curses. Netflix doesn't have it.

Yet.

It's somewhere in the LJ, which is being a Devon. Flashfic challenge thing.

Somehow this is interpreted as their ditched partners hurting THEM, when I actually thought being ditched made you a free agent.

You don't, when ditched, sleep with your ex-honey's friends until the statute of limitations has run out. It's just not good manners.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Self-righteous wrath on the part of Buffy and Xander.

I only remember Xander reacting that way. I remember Buffy being shocked and hurt, but no wrath.

And I'm not sure that Xander's position was wholly unjustified. I mean, sure Spike may have been comfortcookie, but did she have to sleep with the one guy Xander loathes. He's prolly gonna have icky Buffy/Angel associations too. I understand the wrath.

She coulda slept with Angel.

Actually, would it hurt worse to sleep with someone like Riley that Xander basically boycrushes on?
