But there's no indication that he'd seen Jordy since he himself got infected.

There's also no indication he hasn't -- there's no reason whatsoever to assume Jordy was, like, visiting from Connecticut or something. In any event, it wasn't meant as a serious rebuttal.

Yes, Willow did it too, but it was much less extreme.

See, I don't think so. If you had a choice, and your spouse or partner could either a)make out with their best friend for months, or b)have sex twice with someone who they were powerfully physically drawn to, which would you pick?

I'd go with door number two every time. It's almost purely about sex, while the other is about love.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If it were important to our understanding of Oz, I think we'd know.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Trying to figure out which betrayal was worse sometimes it feels like it misses the point. Betrayal and pain are not really comparable things. Probably to Oz, the Willow/Xander kiss caused as much pain as Veruca/Oz did for Willow. It doesn't really matter which was more or less, to me, because I think the comparisons mask the reality that it just hurt a damn lot. Why justify who hurts more?

I understand that Veruca/Oz needed to happen to forward the story and to send Seth Green out in the most heartwrenching way possible.

ita, I don't think it matters, either -- I just mentioned it because someone said Oz has never met a werewolf before. Chill.

Chill.

Please don't do that.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Probably to Oz, the Willow/Xander kiss caused as much pain as Veruca/Oz did for Willow.

I think this is true, especially because Oz and Willow hadn't had sex yet, and there was much more of a history of Xander being a factor in Willow's life. Oz wouldn't even kiss Willow in the van outside the armory because he thought she would be thinking of Xander.

I'm sorry -- I felt like you were nitpicking something really unimportant to death, and that really bothers me because it makes me feel like I'm under siege. My issues, I suppose.

All is well that ends in pizza.

If being bit by Geordy (ST spelling, hee) Caused the Lycanthropy, he must have been careful not to bite Willow... Well, at least not too hard.

Well, biting through the skin is the traditional lycanthropy transmission -- does scratching work too?

JohnSweden - Jun 23, 2003 11:09:17 am PDT #3033 of 10001
I can't even.

Willow mentions "no biting, though" in the "I'm not much fun to be around 3 days a month" speech. Is that Phases? (goes off to check)

ETA: Yep, last bit of dialogue for her in Phases.
