Probably to Oz, the Willow/Xander kiss caused as much pain as Veruca/Oz did for Willow.
I think this is true, especially because Oz and Willow hadn't had sex yet, and there was much more of a history of Xander being a factor in Willow's life. Oz wouldn't even kiss Willow in the van outside the armory because he thought she would be thinking of Xander.
