I did go to cancer.org.
I have an appointment with a surgeon on Tuesday. I have the most common form of breast cancer which I am taking as a good thing.
I was pretty stunned yesterday & not feeling up to much today.

I'm sorry, Sumi. The two people closest to me who had this diagnosis, a cousin and an employee, both responded well to treatment and have been cancer free for years. Lots of ~ma for great caregivers and effective treatment.

That seems totally fair. Good luck.
Definitely give yourself time to feel stunned and be good to yourself.
I am looking back & celebrating last week as the last week in a long time that I will have without medical appointments.
And in other news: I really enjoyed this year’s Kentucky Derby & American Pharoah has entered the Racing Hall of Fame!

Sumi, I am glad you're back. I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis and holding a good thought for you, during your treatment. My friend (a cousin's wife) was just diagnosed. She had surgery yesterday. We're waiting on the pathology reports to find out the particulars of her treatment.
Thanks, Cindy. What a year, eh?
And then some, Karl.
Teppy, you're smart, funny, lovely, compassionate, all around wonderful, and we love you.
You are addressing something that needs addressing (and really soon after realizing the extent of the issue). You rock, and I'm not just saying that because I'm afraid of your superpowers (of which I am afraid).
When my people came, they were so nice! I was a wreck, though.
Sophia, I was just thinking about your journey. Even just in text, I could feel you growing lighter, freer, and more sure of yourself. It must have been hard for you to share it here. I know you did so, at least in part, as an accountability thing, but I think you helped people, too. Having the example of someone else tackling an issue (even if the specifics are different), can be motivating, and you gave that to us.
Lee is definitely reachable on Twitter. The only thing I have to offer is that my mother and SIL both came through it fine and are clean now.
I'm sorry, sumi. Sending all the -ma.
I'm sorry to hear this Sumi. Easy treatment & speedy recovery~ma. (And Lee is also on FB if you're not a Twitterer).
