I empathize with the feeling, truly. I admire you for doing something hard about a situation you know you want to fix when taking the fixing steps makes you feel shitty, too. I’m impressed you managed to both find a company and CALL THEM (!) and set up an appointment, tbh! That seems like the worst part. Personally I’m more than willing to hand someone my money if I don’t have to figure out who to call, call and make an appointment, arrange to have the work done, figure out if there’s a better/more cost effective option, etc etc…

When I started learning about prostate cancer and tests and treatments and medicines, I started at cancer.org, but actually found the most helpful resources through YouTube and Facebook. Just remember to treat anything from there with a critical and skeptical eye.
