Our wings are not tired.

Also- I want to watch Amanda Gorman without watching the game. .

She didn't disappoint. Very refreshing change in the pre-game structure.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Also- I want to watch Amanda Gorman without watching the game

That's what we did! Had nachos and wings and watched the songs and poem at the beginning and then called it a day. Perfect!

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

RSO= Rick Simpson Oil. It's a super potent extract that comes in a 100-dose-syringe. A dose is about 1/4 the size of a grain of rice. I like that a little goes a long way...but you definitely don't want to ignore serving sizes!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I’m sorry, Hil.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Also, I think I'm having another gallstone attack. I'll call my doctor tomorrow, because the last thing I need is to have to go to the ER.

How are you doing this morning, Hil? I'm sorry to hear that about your aunt.

It sounds like Tim is on the upswing with you not far behind, Steph. This is good. Keep doing this.

Were we talking about ironing recently? I realized this morning that the one thing that will induce me to iron is a shirt with pockets and flaps where the flaps get all scrunchy and don't lie flat. I realized this when I was ironing the one shirt I own like that this morning. I love this shirt, so I do the work.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I used to iron on a regular basis. These days ... I mostly give it a miss. My old iron died and it took me a while to buy a new one, so I got out of the habit.

Our wings are not tired.

I hate the scrunchy pocket thing. I don't have an ironing board anymore but will put a towel on a counter top if I have to iron. Which I avoid. When we were kids ironing was a big chore. Seriously folks, permanent press wasn't always a thing. As little ones we ironed my dad's handkerchiefs, then as we got older our cotton school uniforms. Now I fetch things from the dryer and hang them right up. It is a delightful advancement I still appreciate. Mom at least didn't make us iron the sheets as many of my friends did.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

This morning I turned off the wakeup alarms on my phone for the rest of the week, since I'm staycationing. Long list of things that I need to get done, like get my car fixed and inspected, and so on. sigh.

But first I have to go out and shovel, and clear the car. I've made it to the 'mostly dressed' phase, including thermal leggings under my jeans.
