Spike: We got a history, him and me. Fred: What? Spike: It was a long time ago. He was a young Watcher, fresh out of the academy when we crossed paths. It was a, what-you-call battle of wills and blood was spilled. Vendettas were sworn. It was a whole-- Fred: My God you're so full of crap. Spike: Yeah. Okay.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Our wings are not tired.

Just got the call from the breast clinic - BENIGN.

Woot!! See how all of us thinking about Susan's boobs made this happen. Go Buffista~ma, and of course the healthy breasts.

Yay Susan’s hooters!

SJ best of luck today. I would not want to be trying to entertain a child during a non snowy snow day!

Vortex a hair transplant sounds scary but also tempting if it would work. When I was suddenly losing tons of hair I was thinking of it kept up I might have to get super into wearing wigs. (My hair is definitely a lot thinner now but not too terrible for the most part)

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Just got the call from the breast clinic - BENIGN.

Woo Hoo!!!

Thanks, meara. It's pretty much the same because I can't take her out in the snow anyway, but I'd prefer days off not be on TCG's long day.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Hell yeah, Susan!

I've been reading but not really posting because work is insane and I'm tired.

My dad was in the hospital over the weekend due to fluid on the lungs, which they had originally diagnosed as pneumonia. He only got the pneumonia diagnosis after my mom made him talk to a triage nurse since he'd been complaining that he couldn't breathe, but he was dragging his feet because he didn't want to get a COPD diagnosis what with being a lifelong smoker. He also needs to talk to his regular doctor about sleep apnea, which he hasn't done yet because his brother said something about CPAP machines potentially causing suffocation??? My uncle is very much not a doctor, y'all.

Anyway. I'm trying very hard to not to follow the "avoidance until things become critical" coping mechanism at play here.

I have been reading a lot lately on how high-masking smart neurodivergent women just FALL THE FUCK APART during perimenopause because all of the coping mechanisms we've been using since puberty were built on a foundation of mostly reliable hormone levels, which, as it turns out, were pretty important for day-to-day functioning.

I'm laughing nervously and taking notes.
