We got a message from the higher ups that we should try to avoid having meetings next Weds., rescheduling existing ones if needed. I think they figure everyone would be watching the news in another window anyway, so they might as well just roll with it.

Ugh. I guess calling into the meeting, screeching "NO-MEETING FRIDAY", and logging off would be unprofessional, wouldn't it?
The problem is that it's just No-Meeting Friday in my unit, and most of the meetings are with other units. And one I scheduled myself. But one is really egregious!
