We got a message from the higher ups that we should try to avoid having meetings next Weds., rescheduling existing ones if needed.
I scheduled the day off. Between that and it being the 10th anniversary of Mom's death, I know my attention for work will be minimal.

Ugh. I guess calling into the meeting, screeching "NO-MEETING FRIDAY", and logging off would be unprofessional, wouldn't it?
The problem is that it's just No-Meeting Friday in my unit, and most of the meetings are with other units. And one I scheduled myself. But one is really egregious!
