Ugh. I guess calling into the meeting, screeching "NO-MEETING FRIDAY", and logging off would be unprofessional, wouldn't it?
The problem is that it's just No-Meeting Friday in my unit, and most of the meetings are with other units. And one I scheduled myself. But one is really egregious!
AAAAAUGH A SECOND MEETING FOR TOMORROW NOOOOO.
Nooooooo!!
I now need to figure out how to get out of a meeting by yelling "Bat!" and disappearing.
Or yell "smoke bomb!" and run away. (Actual smoke bomb optional, as seen here: [link] )
Or I yell "Bat!" AND throw a smoke bomb!

I feel like working some glitter in somehow might help, but it’s probably not necessary
I want to start using “glittering the smoke bomb” to mean “gilding the lily”
That sounds like a situation where you would really want to know what genre you are in

My mind immediately leapt to horror. So many possibilities.
My Friday mtg (my only standing meeting) got cancelled. Tomorrow I will need to seriously get a lot done though because last day for a week. And I FLAKED on something today.
