30 days of trains sounds intriguing!! As does the eclipse.
Y’all, I probably need to write in to Ask A Manager, but any tips on how to word accomplishments as a project-manager sort of person to both (a) show I did something but (b) not make it sound like I did all the work—sometimes I directed others to do it and other times worked as part of a team. Some things I can claim—like oh, I looked at this issue or these results and realized we needed to do XYZ and then had the team do it, sure. But a lot of other times when trying to think of examples of things I’ve done I end up saying we we we we.
sometimes I directed others to do it and other times worked as part of a team
Can you distinguish between those in each case? So, "led project A, key member of project team B, etc."?
Hi Todd!! Good to see you 'round these parts.
Turns out they didn't need to do a biopsy on my dad after all.
Good news.
Also OMWF starts in 7 minutes on CometTV and I am unreasonably anticipatory.
It has been quite a while. I hope it was enjoyed.
All this vacation talk makes me long for a trip. Sigh.
Turns out they didn't need to do a biopsy on my dad after all.
Yay!
Due to the scheduling of major projects, my usual Labor Day vacation plans won't happen this year. My manager is good about saying we should definitely take vacation at other times—it's just an issue with the school calendar. I'm a little bummed, but it's a one time thing. Or at least, a one time per decade thing.
I’m bummed there’s no indictment yet.
Lol I’ve been vaguely looking at jobs, and one that popped up on a local science jobs board was titled “Qualified Person”. Which I’m sure has reasons and technical explanations but…can you imagine that being your job title?!?
Those would be cool business cards to have
“Is there a Qualified Person in the house?!?!”
I’ll give that question a Qualified Yes.
One of my co-workers has the title Digital Storyteller.
