Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Timelies all!

Fairly warm today, not that I was outside for much of it.

Boo, another coworker has tested positive and she and were in pretty close contact on Tuesday although she didn't have any symptoms then. Will do a test when I get home and hope I keep feeling fine

Thrive to spite them

Yesterday at work there was a big corporate visit. Not thr CEO but several people under him, the new regional vp, etc. I don't know how the visit went for the rest of the store but for Fulfillment it was bad. Very bad.

We aren't making out units per hour and in fact are 2nd to the bottom in...I can't remember the ranking. And the Chief whatever Officer saw not 1 but 3 Fulfillment employees basically meandering through the store while they worked and being slow and brought this up to our manager.

So we have until May to get our units per hour up. The company is cutting us some slack because we have one of the larger square footage stores. We need to be at 25 units per hour. We have ways of tracking it ourselves and there will be weekly meetings. If people aren't performing our manager said he would try to find other parts of the store for us to work in but anyone not showing improvement (and I guess a willingness to move to another dept) will face corrective action.

So that wasn't a fun meeting this morning.

And it was unbelievably hot this morning. I don't know if the ac isn't working right or if they aren't turning it on until much, much later but customers were complaining.

Bummer, askye. Am I remembering right that you were tops in your region or something not so long ago? Or was that a different measure. Anyway, that sucks.
