No. And yes. It's always sudden.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Update: Nobody got back to us, despite frantic calls and messages in all directions, so there is nothing in place as of tonight to get us the meds tomorrow. Our 11:30 dose is the last one we have, and that will last until 5:30.

So we get to wake up in a swivet and try to solve everything in Real Time between 9am and 5:30. Imagine a countdown clock in the upper right screen as David runs around town yelling at pharmacists.

Bonus: Nobody did the dishes so I did them.

How does David respond to stress? Irritation and snappishness.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

That is terrible, David.

That sucks so much, David and JZ. It shouldn't be this way. Any of it.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Oh, David, I'm sorry what should be the simple act of filling a prescription has turned into this. I really hope it gets resolved with the minimum pain for all.

I had surgery on my hand (arthritic thumb and trigger middle finger) about 6 weeks ago. Getting the post surgical pain meds was a bitch but thankfully K-Bug fought that battle for me. I have at least 2 more weeks in a splint, so I still can drive let alone use my left hand for anything. My OT is great and range of motion is slowly returning. But the trigger release surgery either failed or there is something further wrong as it still gets painfully stuck. I do get to work 4 hours per day, so that is progress, I guess.

The family is doing well. Our tiny overlord is two and as busy as a two year old can be. I love living with him, and his parents...I get to see him every day. CJ lived in Illinois for a while but moved back here about a year ago. It was great having all of my tiny family together for Christmas.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Hec, that is absolutely infuriating. I’m so sorry.

No response yet from the emails I sent to my point person last night, but it’s still early. If I don’t get a favorable response, what is my next step?

The light switch for the light over our kitchen table (which isn’t in our kitchen) is now broken. It was working last night, but I still feel like blaming the cleaners at least in my head.

Suzi, Christmas sounds lovely.

sj, I'd say that depends on the response, but you do always have the disputed charge route. Hoping they are reasonable instead.

I spoke to the point person just now and got the total runaround. Essentially they can’t imagine what would have gotten on ltc’s sheets they don’t have anything that smells like that. She couldn’t send 4 people out because I had to reschedule because of ltc and I having the flu and they didn’t have the man power. But if they had sent more people it would have been for less time because the estimate was based on man hours. And they went over the man hours already, and they weren’t going to charge me for the extra hours. These are her best people and she never gets any complaints about them. Essentially my house was just too dirty for them to handle in one day. She did offer to send out another crew to “touch up the missed spots”. She is going to try to come by this afternoon to smell and look at the bedding pieces that have not been washed yet to see what it could possibly be.

So I got a lot of corporate speak and run around, and I doubt I will be getting any money back without a serious fight. Which honestly I do not have in me at this moment.

What is even happening?

I'm sorry, Hec and JZ.
