Gabriel: Are you trying to destroy this family? Simon: I didn't realize it would be so easy.

'Safe'

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Not that I know, but this is also my instinct.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

But also maybe yes the leather corset?

Maybe yes, indeed.

She’s unhappy because the wig is itchy.

I feel this in my bones. I love the concept.of wigs, but, wow, I cannot stand to have them on my head. The itch and the hot. But I also cut tags out of almost all my clothes, so, you know, not surprising. A shame though, because I think they're fun.

What did you decide to wear, Jess?!? And what did you do with your hair, anything? It's pretty rock chic on the daily...

Krysten Sinema killed any urge I have to wear a wig or color my hair anything...exotic. That isn't the thing I blame her for, but it's something else she kind of ruined.(Not that I haven't missed my Manic Panic window by several decades, anyway. Much like ex-Senator It's-Not-Cool_to_brag about skipping third grade when you're forty and allegedly an instructor in your own right.)

Excellent point.

Krysten Sinema killed any urge I have to wear a wig or color my hair anything

That's fair.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I decided against the leather corset in the end because I really only have RenFair skirts to go with it. (I tried it with jeans and it created this very unflattering effect where the corset's waistline was like 8 inches above where the jeans' waistline was, and the only tunic length shirts I have that would have fixed that are long sleeved. ) So I went with a black shirt that's got a low sweetheart neckline and then the top half is mesh. I left my hair alone so I wouldn't have to sleep with product in it or take a shower at midnight when I got home.

Many people were decked out in their goth club best, I prioritized being comfortable on the hourlong train ride to and from the city because I am older than I am cool by several decades.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

The one time I wore a fancy-pants wig on a big-budget production I could not feel it on my head. It probably cost more than my head.

Being comfortable is a reasonable priority. Makes for a more enjoyable event.
