Congratulations to the class of 1999. You all proved more or less adequate.

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

if I'm part of the other 30%, then I'll need surgery, but it's a pretty minor surgery.

Hil - I've had trigger thumb surgery and it was a quick procedure and they didn't even knock me all the way out. Recovery was pretty quick if I remember correctly. I hope the shots help, but if it goes to surgery, the process is well worth the relief.

Zen, I'm glad you sister is coming out to be with you.

In me me me medical good news, I had my physical today. My bloodwork all looks great. I'm down 40 lbs since my last physical, my cholesterol, which has never been a problem, has dropped as has my blood pressure. My thyroid, iron, B12, and Vitamin D levels are all good, so my meds are working.

My blood sugars look a bit wonky, but stupid me ate a cookie for breakfast on my way to the blood draw. She isn't overly concerned, but is having them run another test. If it is something, we are on the way early edge and have a ton of options.

I do need to go get my boobs smashed and get a bone density test. And I was reminded, multiple times, that next year I get the joy of a colonoscopy. Wheee? Happy 40th - let's put your boobs in a vice. Happy 50th - watch out colon.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Yay for good Suzi-news in the health realm.

Much ~ma for Daniel's mom.

I swear my family is part turtle, we are all so slow. Takes me forever to get moving and forever to change tasks. On that note, off to the shop.

Happy 50th - watch out colon.

I have yet to get mine. The problem is that I need to have someone with me, and my wingman is gone, and the people I would ask don't have the lenient I Need To Take A Day Off policies I have.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I had my first 'scopy early this year. In fact, she ordered what the nurses referred to as a "spinner", which made me laugh, in spite of the circumstances. They admitted me for the afternoon and had an anesthetist, and I went to sleep and woke up and as far as I was concerned it was a *lovely* nap. No difficulties at all recovering. But the two weeks before were complicated by a gluten-rich diet. I don't eat that many carbs, like, ever. Oy. And the 36 hours before the procedure are best forgotten.

Yay for good Suzi health news.

And much ~ma for Daniel's mom.
