Wake Up Dead Man is my favorite of the three, by a lot. Rian Johnson managed to ease back on the campiness, so that Craig was less Foghorn Leghorn, but also with the rest of the cast, and everything was dialed in perfectly.

Wake Up Dead Man is my favorite of the three, by a lot. Rian Johnson managed to ease back on the campiness, so that Craig was less Foghorn Leghorn, but also with the rest of the cast, and everything was dialed in perfectly.
Rewatching them all together, I still prefer the tightness of the first mystery, but Wake Up Dead Man is the best "film" by far. I was really sad it wasn't part of the awards conversation.
